“I simply love light. Its ability to transform the most mundane of subjects into something beautiful never ceases to amaze me. As an artist I seek to explore light and its magical touch in my paintings.”
Linée’s formal art education is in architecture, graduating with a degree in architecture from Ball State University. As a natural progression of her interest in architecture, Linée primarily paints urban based scenes. She paints exclusively in pastels. Through her workshops and classes she strives to share her joy of pastel painting with others.
Linée has exhibited in national and international exhibitions including International Association of Pastel Societies, Pastel Society of America, American Artist Professional League, and Connecticut Pastel Society’s ‘Renaissance in Pastel’. She is also honored to be a member of the Salmagundi Club of New York and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society and the Pastel Society of New Hampshire.
