Kurt Weiser

Kurt A. Weiser is a relatively new artist who focuses on telling a story and perhaps even creating a mood in his landscapes. He is drawn to the beauty of nature.

When Kurt graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1991 with a degree in Landscape Architecture, he worked, as an architect for 7 years before it became clear “corporate America” was not for him. It wasn’t until he got married and was lucky enough to become a “stay at home” dad that he found the true inspiration to create his current works.

He holds an Associate Membership in the Pastel Society of America, a Signature Membership in the Connecticut Pastel Society, an Active Membership in the Degas Society, and Artist Memberships in the North River Arts Society, the Pastel Painter’s Society of Cape Cod, and the International Association of Pastel Societies.
