Demonstrations
Each year CPS presents educational opportunities open to the public at each of its three exhibitions, generally a pastel demonstration or presentation, but sometimes a gallery tour with discussion of the pieces in the show. In addition we from time to time offer a demonstration by a workshop instructor the day before the start of a workshop.
A number of our demos in the past have been documented with a series of photos of the demonstration piece in progress. Please see the slide show presentations of the following demos below.
Demo: May 2-4, 2025
Interiors demo with pastelist Cindy Crimmin
Southington Community Art Center (SoCCA)
Artist Demonstration: Many of our members enjoyed an online Zoom demonstration by Cindy Crimmin. Cindy has provided a link to watch this demo on YouTube in case you missed it or would like to rewatch it
The demonstration scheduled for the final day of our 2020 Members’ Exhibition was canceled due to the c. virus shutdown; however, Karen Israel kindly did the demonstration anyway – on video! Please see this page to view the video sections on YouTube:
